Needles

I am afraid of being extract blood from needle syringe. I was knocking on the door which labeled "Consultation room". As I went in, a female doctor in her 30s greeted me with her casual and easy going attitude. She did the usual stuff like check heart beat. I usually would like " clinical high blood pressure" as I will be nervous when ever I need to see a doctor, but this time surprising my blood pressure was ok as what I have always measured at home... hahha.... Then she took out the syringe. I start to sweat a bit.... hhaha, she poke into my arm and yes it hurts.... Confirmed she's not experience.... 5 -7 mins later the needle is still in my arm.....Ouch... She's adjusting the position and keep press the syringe up and down hoping to get more blood. After 10mins, she done . I was surprised that I actually looked at how she pressed up and down with the needles syringe and forget about the pain... I guess is all in the mind, some techniques may help...

Wasting Country's wealth

Reservist experience was a good one as it reminds you of how " fish" up are the people supported by the government. They used our money to feed these people whom waste our money. Here's an experience in Paya Lebar Airbase when I was on duty 9pm-12am (26June06).

There is this BDO (Base duty officer), he keep driving his car up and down our check point. At first I stopped his car and checked the passes of all passengers. After the checking, we were suppose to salute to the Warrant officer with rifle . As I side slinked my rifle, was hard for me to salute with the rifle. He didn't wait and drove off. Thereafter the keep passing our check point hopping to catch us not in proper attire and stuff. Too bad I was too siao on and professional. He stop at the Check point, I thought he wanted to say something. I went over and waited for him to wind down the window, but he didn't. He just looked at me like a fool and I have a feeling this is really a fool like what I have always though they are. There was a moment of pause for 5 seconds. I was smart enough to know what he wants. I saluted with with the rifle. He just went off happily. So now I know, this is how we spent our money on income tax. To let him drive up and down doing nothing and so free till they demand a salute. U will automatically salute a person whom deserved respect, and you will be forced to salute people whom you can't respect for the rest of your life. This is a great example of the latter.
These people can't get real respect from anywhere.... So they need physical saluting to make them feel like human. If there is no salute, is that going to make them less human........ Poor guy... When I relate this to other mates, they are surprised that such people are still around.... Maybe the government can revise their way to assess the suitability of the personnel to prevent further wastage of Country wealth.

3Fish named OP, MuG and bluie

I gave a small fishy tank having 3 fishes in it to Jas.... i not sure if she happy or not..... need her to reply with a comments to know lah.. hee hee.. well... the fishes are named as above. OP = Orange peel, MuG = Morning Glory, MG for short... but i decide to call it Mug hahaha, lastly is bluie just because it looks blue.. hahah very straight forward.... Come on take a few pic and post it here. This symbolises a new chapter for us....

1st day of Army daze

1st day was boring lectures ....... but brain to get a lot of rest ..... my pace of walking have slow down like a walking zombie..... hee hee.... good in a way because i an revitilising....hee hee... but tomorrow will have field training....but still haven't recover from my cough....... cough cough.... .. will start duty on sat and ON -OFF-ON-OFF all the way....... tomorrow is my farewell dinner too...

Yeah..... the day have finally arrived to take a break from work... so happy and relaxed..

Anyway have a bad encounter with a bitchy HR today... forget about her..... just look forward and hope for the best. Will work very very hard in "aussie Uni of wollongong" .. hahha for those selected one only...

Nurses are Angels in white ????

We often see in TV drama that nurses are so kind, caring and lovable. But is this really the truth ???? Time for the real truth!!!!!!

Truth: 50% of nurses are rude and not helpful. They tend to put up a long long face if there are a lot of patients (work load increase). Through my encounters, i rarely met nurses that are super nice and helpful....

However, i met a ex-nurse (M**y lady). She is super nice and funny, she the the kind of person that is born to do this job. Imagine, when patients are already feeling bad physically, they still need to suffer the rude and un-helpful attitude of the nurses.... this i cannot tahan.. (unbearable in malay)

To all nurses out there, i have one golden phase for you.... " Be Nice ... not nasty"
To all lovely nurses out there...... keep up the good work, the world respect you for that.

Confirmed Sick ... germs germs go away

Feeling so sick..... down with flu, cold,cough,throat infection all at one time. It's like 3 in 1 coffee.... but now is like 4in 1 package to make up for all the heathy times this one year... haha... To make it worst, need to work night shift which is very tiring. Doc gave 2 days MCs but i paiseh not to go work because already have so many MCs for past fews months. Hope that my boss would let me manage the line from office...otherwise may really cannot make it. Haiz... hope my boss won't be thinking that i am lazy or what.... working performance rating scoring a "zero" now.....

Not feeling well today as i have lost my voice to the germs in my throat.... besides that, i think i'm having a slight fever too......
To add salt to the wound, i'm on night shift tonight. I think i will sms my boss and tell him that i will manage the line from office. i will be very paiseh if i MC again... as what SF have told me, is no good to take so many MCs will affect my working performance.

Although not feeling well, i am also happy because it's Minghan wedding.... haha... will attend the dinner first then work..... haha will be very tired then ....hee hee.. ok time to get some rest first

Volunteering

Volunteering....session2 ......

Met some nice people like YH, C, EL....that's all.... The experience was better than the first one as i was not as nervous. I felt at ease and feel no pressure..... After the volunteering, i feel light hearted and there was a kind of happiness within me that i cannot explain why ...... This may be the " sense of satisfaction" that they always say....

Mary is such a funny and charming person..... when i looked into her eyes.....it's like talking to me and telling me a lot more than what she was saying..... too bad she have resigned... But really hope she'll have a better prospect somewhere else...

Reservist training holiday camp......

The 3th high key NS call up is just round the corner and i'm looking forward to it. At last, some time away from work, away from the crappy environment that back-stabb one another. That shitty person who thinks that he is the god or genius.... pls lah..... take a mirror and look through it..... if you can't see it, you probably need a stool to stand on. muhahahaha..... oops.. that is really bad of me to say that. Please be nice to my photo no. 1 and stop talking bad about her..... well the only reason why you do it is because you need to step on her to go up the ladder. I will here enlighten you and give u a big big hint which you are not seeing. Firstly, there is a big pcs of shit stucked up there, you need to clean up this shit before you can move on.... muhahaha.. chim right??? use your genius brain to think lah.....
